Ceiling fans weigh anywhere from 15 to 50 pounds. When spinning, they create continuous vibrations. Standard light fixture boxes in ceilings are **not** rated to support the weight and movement of a fan.

Switch & Dimmer Integrations

This means that almost all newly installed fixtures must utilize high-efficiency LED lights rather than power-consuming incandescent bulbs. In addition, bathrooms, kitchens, and laundry rooms must contain occupancy sensors or dimmers to reduce energy waste.
